Here's the honest part — and why this role exists: we have a large global audience and tens of thousands of branded search visitors every month, but much of that audience sits outside our intended customer profile. We have not yet launched broadly to our waitlist or established a repeatable go-to-market motion. You will be the person who finds it.

The Role 🙌🏼

The mandate: find, prove, and begin scaling a repeatable path from an ICP-fit prospect with an urgent job to an activated, retained AutoGPT customer.

You will investigate and fix the constraint wherever it exists: ICP selection, positioning, proof, pricing, website conversion, checkout, onboarding, activation, lifecycle communication, product experience, or acquisition.

This is not a role where you deliver recommendations to another marketing team. You will personally research, write, build, launch, measure, and iterate — with direct access to the founders, product, engineering, and all customer and funnel data from day one.

What You'll Own:

• Establish reliable measurement from traffic source and search query through signup, purchase, activation, and retention.
• Interview current customers, non-buyers, churned users, and high-fit waitlist members.
• Validate or disprove our ICP and use-case hypotheses — then define the initial ICP, anti-ICP, job to be done, buying trigger, and value proposition.
• Improve positioning, use-case pages, proof, checkout, and onboarding.
• Help define and improve the product's activation event and time to value.
• Launch segmented waitlist campaigns rather than a single broad announcement.
• Run tightly controlled paid-search tests around high-intent, non-branded problems.
• Validate SEO opportunities before committing to scaled content production.
• Test product-led social, YouTube, direct outreach, or partnerships where evidence supports them.
• Work directly with product and engineering on funnel and activation improvements.
• Maintain a prioritized experiment backlog documenting each experiment's hypothesis, cost, result, and decision.
• Provide concise weekly reporting — one async memo, one 30-minute decision meeting.
• Protect and elevate the AutoGPT brand throughout.
